Oxygen RX Treatment
Skin Type Indications: Acne, Rosacea, sun-damaged skin, broken capillaries.
Properties: The Oxygen Rx treatment can be used on any skin type. The germicidal action makes it extremely beneficial for acne and rosacea. The lightening and vasoconstricting capabilities give instant results. The procedure is quick, easy, and pleasant. The result is clear, luminous skin with a feeling of firmness. Can be repeated as often as once a week (oxygen only). With the enzyme treatment included, it can be repeated once every third week.

Skin Type Indications: Aging, photo-damaged or environmentally damaged skin (over 35).

Peels
Skin Type indications: Aging, pigmented, acne
The purpose of using chemical peels on the skin is to breakdown and remove highly keratinised surface proteins (dead skin). On oily skins with breakouts this means the peel will penetrate and breakdown the debris in the pore, allowing oxygen to enter the follicle and kill the bacteria. On pigmented or aging skin, the peel will increase cell turnover which improves light refraction resulting in brighter skin. Peels also initiate a short-lived inflammatory response in the skin. The skin reacts to this temporary injury by increasing fibroblast activity and stimulating elastin and collagen production. This process strengthens the connective tissue thus improving skin texture and wrinkle formation.
Some skin types are not suitable for chemical peels and clients will not receive a peel on their first visit to the clinic. Depending on skin sensitivity some clients will experience reddening of the skin for a short time after the peel. Not all clients will experience physical peeling. Depending on the skin’s condition it may be necessary to pre-treat the skin with at home products before the procedure.
